The images show how the cubes look when glowing, how they will arrive if you order a full package of 24 and how they compare in size to a quarter. The round knobs visible on the top two cubes in the 3rd photo are to make it easier to activate them. Simply rap the side with this knob into a hard flat object like a floor or table. When hit with enough force, this knob will break the glass ampoule which allows the chemicals to mix. They can also be activated by squeezing them.
The image below shows how they look when put into a bowl of water. You could substitute any clear fluid such as punch, kool-aid, tea or some juices instead of water. Less clear fluids may still work but the effect will be diminished and perhaps obscured completely. These are best in a darkened area.
